Food Innovation Center donates healthy snacks to frontliners

In USTP’s support for COVID-19 frontliners, the Food Innovation Center (FIC) produced and donated healthy snacks such as camote chips, banana chips, and calamansi concentrate to hospitals and checkpoint personnel.

The first batch of healthy snacks (camote chips and calamansi concentrate) was given to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) through Dr. Andresul Abrio Labis. The next batch (banana chips and calamansi concentrate) was delivered to the NMMC through Dr. Labis, JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) through Ms. Aurora Gomez, and the Pagatpat checkpoint through PMSg Albert A. Balabag, PSSg Tagud and PSMS Gilbert Agbu.

The packs were delivered by FIC Manager Dr. Therese June Aranas and USTP CDO Extension and Community Relations Division Director Dr. Maria Teresa Fajardo.
