On May 9, 2019, University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with USAID Science, Technology, Research and Innovation for Development (STRIDE).

The MOA signing also served as a venue to openly discuss the future programs and undertakings of the Career Center, including steps on addressing the skills mismatch, as well as maintaining a competitive edge against other schools in the Philippines.
Dr. Rosalito Quirino, OIC President, signed the MOA with Dr. Richard Abendan, Chief of Party, STRIDE Program. University key officials, as well as STRIDE representatives, were present to witness the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement.
